NEW: Student Online Registration/Verification for 2018-2019
Grande Yellowhead Public School Division (GYPSD) is proud to announce that we are continuing our focus on digital innovation and practices with the implementation of a new student online registration process beginning the 2018-19 school year. Please note that paper registration forms will not be accepted for the 2018-19 school year.
What does this mean for our families?
Registration for the 2018-2019 school year will be conducted exclusively online. ALL parents/guardians MUST select from the following options to begin registering your student for a school with Grande Yellowhead Public School Division for the upcoming school year.
There are two online forms for the 2018-2019 school year. Parents will be either filling out the ‘New Student Form’ or the ‘Returning Student Form’ via the online registration software. A parent/guardian of a new student can simply click on the link and follow the Online Registration Instructions. Returning students require parent/guardian to verify or amend their child’s information that is currently on file in the form.
A New Student is one who has not attended a Grande Yellowhead Public School Division school in the previous school year, as well as our new kindergarten students entering school for the first time.
A Returning Student is one who has attended a Grande Yellowhead Public School Division school in the previous year(e.g. students entering Grades 1-12).
Transportation News - Online Registration
As a reminder to all parents, school bus registration will open on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.
ALL ineligible students will be placed on a waiting list for their appropriate bus based on date and time their registration is received. Please watch your email for confirmation that your registration request was received. Ineligible students will be placed on their appropriate bus starting Monday, September 24, 2018. Parents will need to provide transportation for students until this date or until space has been confirmed from transportation services.
Please note space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis so make sure to register early.
