Beginning Kindergarten is an exciting milestone for your child and your family. It is a time of exploration and growth. Full-day kindergarten is designed to delight your child in learning, helping them build stronger connections to friends and teachers to give them a stronger start to their learning journey with GYPSD schools.

Our schools offer a warm, safe and caring environment to welcome your child to the wonderful new world of discovery and learning. Our Kindergarten program is designed to help prepare children for Grade 1 by providing a strong foundation for future learning. It also encourages children to play and learn through a variety of experiential education opportunities. These experiences support their emotional, social, physical, intellectual and creative development. To enroll your child in Kindergarten for the upcoming school year, they must be 5 years old by December 31st .

We invite you to contact one of the schools in your community to register your child and learn more about the specialized Kindergarten program offered so 'Let's Get Ready to Learn'!
