Policy development is a key responsibility of the Board of Trustees to enable them to effectively lead, direct, and govern the operations of the Division as stated in the Education Act. The adoption of new policies and revisions of existing policies is solely the responsibility of the Board. Division policies are developed to guide the role of the Board, outline the role of the Superintendent and how authority is delegated from the Board, operational expectations of the Division, and the Division results or outcomes for each student in the Division.
