Home Education
GYPSD is an official Home Education provider in Alberta. Home Education is a Grade 1-12 program supervised and facilitated by GYPSD and provides parents the flexibility to design and implement their child’s learning program.
What does GYPSD support?
- Parent-led curriculum, activities, resources, and assessment methods with access to specialized programs or option courses at local GYPSD schools as enrichment to their Home Education plan.
- Funding for resources and materials may be available to support each annual Home Education program.
- GYPSD employs a certificated teacher who can help parents with the planning and offer educational support all year.
