GNS Random Acts of Kindness Week Feb 9-15

Posted on:

Are you a RAKtivist? The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation hopes so! Kindness has the power to brighten someone's day, strengthen communities, and create lasting change. The foundation has celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Day and Week every year since 1995, offering participants a variety of free resources. You can download a calendar for 2025 with great ideas for showing kindness throughout the year.

This Random Acts of Kindness Week (February 9-15, 2025), we invite everyone to join a global movement dedicated to spreading positivity, generosity, and compassion—one act at a time.

This week is a perfect reminder of how thoughtful gestures can spark joy, inspire change, and create lasting impact. Let’s celebrate this week as a chance to embrace kindness as a daily habit and a way of life;  we can become a positive influence in each other’s lives. Even one small act of kindness can mean a great deal to somebody.

If you’re the type of person who starts each new year with a plan to develop positive and healthy habits, then participating in Random Acts of Kindness Week should be on your list! It could give you a solid start in creating a behaviour that offers enormous benefits to you and to others.

Let’s work together to make kindness the norm, not the exception!
