2021 Summer School

Summer School is now accepting registrations for students in Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12. Summer School is an intense format for studies in which all of the Alberta Education outcomes in the Program of Studies that are normally taught in a semester are taught in fewer hours. Summer School is a great opportunity for students to free up room in their timetables for other courses or to upgrade marks. Each class is taught by a teacher and will involve instruction, assessment and student work every day. These are NOT self-paced courses and attendance is required during the set class time.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all of our courses will be online and run from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm. This year, GYPSD is offering CALM, Biology 20 and Social Studies 30-2 during the month of July.
