GNS: HCHS Wellness Fair

Harry Collinge High School was thrilled to host a Wellness Fair for their students on November 15th.
Many community agencies came out to support, set up information booths, have games, provide snacks, and even Plinko. The focus of this event was to bring awareness to the students about the many supports that are available in the town of Hinton and to inspire conversation and learning about mental health and wellness.
The Hinton Friendship Center, the Hinton Friendship Youth Program, Mamowichiowin Community Wellness Program, Native Counseling Services of Alberta, The FASD Network, Hinton H.E.L.P., West Yellowhead Women's Shelter, Hinton Youth Center, B.E.S.T., and the RCMP were all represented at the fair to ensure students and staff are aware of these important partner organizations and agencies.
