GNS: Fearless in the Forest

Students at Fulham Community School enjoyed a new outdoor learning adventure through the Fearless in the Forest program. The program is set up to deliver safe and informative sessions for students to learn about nature and have fun outdoors! The program offers experiential learning opportunities based on the Alberta curriculum.
Facilitators from the program were on hand to share their passion for the outdoors and taught all students from kindergarten to Grade 6 about a variety of topics including Plant identification and animal tracking Hiking/Forest walking Outdoor Indigenous games In addition, the land acknowledgement was done by using the school’s focus on our five senses.
