GNS CVS Students Collect for Food Bank

Students at Crescent Valley School in Hinton were proud to host a food drive last month for the Hinton Food Bank. Each class competed for the top collector and at the end of the event, excited students waited anxiously for the donations to be weighed to determine which class would be crowned the top collectors!
The heavyweight classes were Ms. Randall’s Grade 3 and Ms. Morey’s Grade 4. Their efforts were awarded with a pizza party from their school council and the school’s office staff with sincere appreciation for a job well done.
A total of 1,385.8 pounds of food were collected to help those in need in their community.
