GNS: 2023 Chromebook Winners

Grande Yellowhead is proud to offer a number of excellent academic supports to help our early learners begin a great start in their learning years including access to learning specialists, current technology tools, and resources to support children with special needs. New registrants for junior kindergarten and/or kindergarten programs were entered into a draw last spring to win their own personal Chromebook to support at-home learning. A winner was chosen for each elementary school and the excited winners were presented with their Chromebook by their school principal.

GYPSD supports exemplary early learning in meaningful, play-based, child-centered approach in Junior Kindergarten programs and offers full-day Kindergarten programs at all our elementary schools - promoting social and emotional learning, empathy, language, communication, physical activity, literacy, numeracy, inquiry, and exploration - encouraging sharing, listening, growth and development of a positive self-image.
