Pink Shirt Day is recognized across Canada on the last Wednesday of February. The initiative helps to bring awareness to anti-bullying efforts and encourages kindness. The theme for 2020 was "Lift Each Other Up".  This message encourages us to look beyond our differences not only on Pink Shirt Day but every day and focus on celebrating the things that make us unique. In addition to wearing pink, schools across GYPSD hosted special events and activities to show their commitment to ensuring welcoming, caring, respectful and safe learning environments.
