March 9 - 13, 2020, is Substitute Teachers Appreciation Week which recognizes the wonderful education professionals who are ready every day to jump in and help out in our classrooms. Substitute teachers make an incredible impact on our children’s education. We may forget how challenging it is for a substitute teacher to take over a permanent teacher’s classroom and provide learning continuity in our classrooms. This week is a wonderful opportunity to show our sincere appreciation in how these individuals help our students succeed in their learning endeavours. We invite you to join in the celebrations and events happening in our schools this week and share your appreciation for these hard-working and dedicated individuals.
