Careers Paths: Forestry

Providing students opportunities to explore different career pathways is one way that GYPSD prepares students for their next steps after high school. Recently, students at Harry Collinge High School (HCHS) in Hinton took part in a day-long virtual career expo organized by Careers the Next Generation. The focus of the expo was the huge variety of careers that are related to the Forestry Industry. Students were encouraged to ask questions in each of the 11 different presentations and in doing so were kept engaged throughout the day. It was a very informative and productive day for all of the attendees from HCHS.
