Earlier this spring, staff at École Pine Grove Middle School put their creativity and talents to deepen and extend learning into the school's hallways.
The Giving Tree by Ms. Sandra Davenport: Showcasing the values and belief system of the Métis people, Ms. Davenport's project is inspired by Métis artist Lean Dorion's The Giving Tree. She also shares a short story with her students on how these values and beliefs were traditionally practiced and how they still resonate in the Métis community today.
Fixed/Growth Mindset by Family School Liaison Counselor Miranda Keyes: March was all about Growth Mindset, encouraging students to reach their full potential by changing the way they think about and approach their learning.
Front Foyer Bulletin Board: The front bulletin board showcases École Pine Grove Middle School's Land Acknowledgement and Indigenous Leaders including Elder Frieda Maynard from Edson.
