GYPSD students continue to receive valuable support from Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists in all our communities during school closures. Working closely with our families to identify specific needs during these unprecedented times, parents provided information on what type of support their child required, and how often they would like to receive help. The types of support that the Division is pleased to be able to offer range from phone consultation, emails, paper program plans, and virtual therapy sessions. Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists from our contracted service providers, Khan Communication and Alberta Health Services, are dedicated to ensuring students are making progress on their individual goals. GYPSD is very fortunate to have such dedicated partners in learning that continue to assist over 150 students in our communities!
