GNS:BEST Snow Fun

The BEST program provides universal mental health programming to all GYPSD communities and promotes positive mental health in ways that enhance the individual’s ability to enjoy life and deal with life’s challenges. Over the years, BEST Success Coaches have been connecting with students both in and out of school, offering programs during the summer, PD days, and school holidays. Over the Christmas holiday, Edson BEST Success Coach Katerina Giovos joined Lobstick BEST Success Coach Erin Paterson to host a Family Skating Event in Niton Junction. The event included outdoor skating, an outdoor fire, the playground, snow paint and an outdoor winter craft bag provided by the Niton Public Library. Children and their families braved the snow to come out and join BEST for an afternoon of winter fun. Multiple parents commented on how nice it was to have an afternoon activity to attend the week leading up to Christmas!
