Some talented students from Parkland Composite High School in Edson made dreamcatchers and mini ribbon skirts for the Christmas tree that was donated to the Edson Cultural Heritage Organization/ Red Brick Arts Centre's Festival of Trees on behalf of the Kid Wolf Memorial Lodge Foundation. "It was an amazing community effort with our elders and youth," shared Renay Woelfing, Indigenous Education Manager for Grande Yellowhead Public School Division. "The students helped decorate the tree that has been given the title Kokum and Mosom Christmas Tree in memory of our ancestors."  This was the 14th Annual Festival of Trees which was held on November 21-23, 2019.
